Recommendations metrics
Recommendations metrics measure the recommendations themselves: how often they are shown and how often visitors click them. What they lead to in the cart and in orders is in the commerce metrics (attributed revenue, attributed units added to cart).
Break them down by recommendation placement to compare the product page, cart, collection and home page blocks, or the slots your own site defines.
Recommendations Shown
Section titled “Recommendations Shown”recommendation_shown_count
How many times a recommendation block was shown to a visitor.
How it’s counted: the number of recommendation shown events. One block shown once counts once, however many items it holds.
Recommendation Clicks
Section titled “Recommendation Clicks”recommendation_click_count
How many times visitors clicked a recommended item.
How it’s counted: the number of clicks that carry a recommendation.
Recommendation Click-Through Rate
Section titled “Recommendation Click-Through Rate”recommendation_ctr
The share of recommendation blocks shown that got at least one click, between 0 and 1.
How it’s counted: distinct blocks shown that were clicked, divided by blocks shown. A block clicked twice counts once, so the rate never goes above 1.
